The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, went on a short-term working vacation starting July 26, 2024, as announced by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
For context, Mirziyoyev took his first vacation on August 5, 2019. In 2021, the President's vacation lasted seven days, from January 4 to January 10. In 2022, his short-term vacation was from January 5 to January 7. Last year, the President took a short vacation starting December 4.
It is worth noting that Shavkat Mirziyoyev was last on short-term work leave from April 22 to April 29.
