The operation of Namangan airport was limited due to adverse weather conditions, as reported by "Uzbekistan Airports."
Low visibility (250 meters) necessitated the diversion of Red Wings flight to an alternative airfield in Fergana.
It's worth noting that due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Russian "Red Wings" airline's flight RA1123 bound for Makhachkala - Namangan was redirected to Fergana International Airport after waiting in the holding area. The aircraft, carrying 76 passengers, landed at Fergana airport at 10:21 Tashkent time. Passengers will soon be transported to Namangan airport via air transport.
“The flight RA1124 from Namangan to Makhachkala is now operating from Fergana airport. Passengers from Namangan will also be transferred to the designated airport via air transport,” according to the report.
Additionally, Uzbekistan Airways, en route from New York to Tashkent, had to make an emergency landing at St. Petersburg airport due to an unruly passenger.
