The Uzbek grandmaster will take part in the "Superbet Poland 2024" event, hosted in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, as announced on the tournament's official website.
With a prize pool of $175,000, the competition is scheduled to run from May 7 to May 12. Abdusattorov's inaugural match in the tournament is slated for May 8.
Let us reminder you that the 19-year-old Abdusattorov emerged victorious in the "Tepe Sigeman-2024" tournament held in Malmö, Sweden. Scoring 4.5 points in the primary round, the Uzbek chess player secured victory after defeating Russian Peter Svidler and Indian Arjun Erigaisi in a tiebreak.
