In Navoi, disciplinary action was taken against the driver who attempted to bribe an employee of the Road Patrol Service

In the Navoi region, a driver under the influence of alcohol tried to offer a bribe of 3 million soums to a road patrol service employee. This information was disclosed by the Navoi regional Department of Internal Affairs.

Reportedly, Road Patrol Service officers stationed in Navoi city intercepted a Nexia-2 vehicle traveling along Ibn Sina street due to a child under 12 occupying the front seat.

The driver's behavior raised suspicion among the staff, leading to the discovery that he had consumed alcohol during a breathalyzer test.

The suspect was apprehended while attempting to hand over 3 million soums to an employee during a swift operation conducted in collaboration with the Navoi Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Main Department of Personal Security and the Navoi Regional Department.

In response to the incident, administrative reports were filed under Article 131 (driving under the influence) Part 1 and Article 128 (driving on sidewalks, disregarding road signs, and other traffic regulations) Part 1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code. The driver attempted to bribe Road Patrol Service employees with 3 million soums to avoid these reports.

The suspect was apprehended while attempting to hand over 3 million soums to an employee during a swift operation conducted in collaboration with the Navoi Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Main Department of Personal Security and the Navoi Regional Department.

The employees who reported the corrupt act to the relevant authorities were acknowledged with a letter of appreciation and rewarded monetarily by the DIA for their integrity.
