Minnikhanov explores new industrial projects in the Navoi free economic zone

The Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, part of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, arrived in the Navoi region on December 18. The Navoi regional administration reported this development.

The head of Tatarstan was welcomed by the Navoi region governor, Normat Tursunov. Together with Minnikhanov, he visited the Industrial Development Complex in the Navoi Free Economic Zone. During the visit, Minnikhanov familiarized himself with the construction activities taking place at a special industrial park being built in collaboration with Tatarstan. He was presented with the projects being implemented within the industrial park.

Additionally, the delegation led by the Chairman of Tatarstan discussed in detail the trade, economic, and investment issues between the two regions. The parties held negotiations on cooperation in promising areas.

Rustam Minnikhanov's visit to the Navoi region concluded with his departure from Navoi International Airport.

It is worth recalling that in July of this year, Minnikhanov also visited the Navoi region. On that occasion, he was met not only by the regional governor, Normat Tursunov, but also by the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, and the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade.
