In the Kyziltepa district of the Navoi region, an illicitly connected mining farm to the electricity grid was uncovered, with JSC "Regional Electric Networks" providing the information.

During a nighttime raid on the field shed owned by the "Khairullo-Narzullo" farm in the "Yashnabad" neighborhood of the district, 47 units of heating, cooling, and lighting devices, along with other electrical equipment, were found to have been removed without an electric meter. It was determined that these devices were being used illegally by directly connecting to the electricity network, leading to the issuance of a report on the matter.

Initial recalculations revealed that the "Khairullo-Narzullo" farm had caused damage amounting to 484.8 thousand kW or 436.3 million soums.

The report stated that, in accordance with the relevant decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a 5-fold increasing coefficient was applied to the illegally used mining farms, resulting in the issuance of documents to collect 2.2 billion soums. An additional 1.8 billion soums were calculated as a fine with a 5-fold increasing coefficient for the offender.

It is worth noting that in October, in the Karmana district of the region, the operation of an illegal mining farm that caused over 24 billion soums in damages to the state's interests was halted. Last month, in the Uzun district of the Surkhandarya region, a house was discovered to have installed mining crypto-asset devices, causing 425.7 million soums in damages to the state and society. This month, the operation of a mining farm that caused over 2.8 billion soums in damages was stopped in the Fergana region.
