In Syrdarya, authorities uncovered a mining farm responsible for electricity theft amounting to 34.3 billion soums, as reported by the State Security Service.

Within a limited liability company focused on livestock breeding in the Syrdarya district, 107 imported cryptocurrency mining devices, including "INNOSILICON T3," "Whatsminer M21S," and "ANTMINER S9 BITMAIN," were found operational.

From April 2022 to March 2024, the illegal use of electricity, achieved by manipulating the electric meter, resulted in losses totaling 34 billion 367 million soums for the state, by intermittently disconnecting the meter's secondary circuit and concealing actual power consumption.

Had the 39.3 million kilowatts of stolen electricity been utilized responsibly, it could have met the monthly energy needs of residents in Boyovut, Sardoba, Oqoltin, and Guliston districts of the region.

Officials of the LLC are currently facing criminal charges under Article 169, Part 4, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code, with an ongoing investigation.

It's worth noting that a similar cryptofarm causing substantial state losses was recently uncovered in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent.
