38 individuals have been arrested in the Bukhara region

1090938 individuals have been arrested in the Bukhara region as part of the 'Dolzarb 40 kun' (Urgent 40 days) comprehensive preventive initiative. The aim is to proactively prevent crimes and offenses, either committed or anticipated, and thwart any planned criminal activities across Uzbekistan. This information was provided by the regional DIA.
During these swift measures, authorities uncovered 22 previously unsolved crimes within the region and apprehended 31 individuals who were wanted by law enforcement.
Furthermore, authorities identified and suspected individuals in 1 case of kidnapping and invasion, 8 cases involving illegal drug trade, 2 cases of unlawful possession of hunting weapons, and 9 other types of crimes. Criminal cases have been initiated against the accused under Articles 137, 164, 168, 276, 251, and 248 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among these, 5 individuals have been imprisoned, and 15 have been subjected to other precautionary measures.
In addition to these actions, targeted preventive measures were carried out with 98 individuals during the operation. As a result, 38 individuals who were contributing to the criminogenic situation were placed under administrative custody.
"The extensive rapid preventive measures are ongoing, ensuring the inevitability of consequences for those engaging in illegal actions," stated the DIA.
It's worth noting that prior to this development, individuals suspected of criminal activity were arrested in Tashkent city, Fergana, Andijan, Namangan, Samarkand, Khorezm, and Tashkent regions as part of these rapid preventive measures.
