School student dies in Namangan after falling from cotton trailer

7041Social media reports have surfaced about the tragic death of a 9th-grade student who fell from a tractor-trailer loaded with cotton in Pop district, Namangan region. It is reported that on the day of the incident, a wedding was taking place at the home of a local farmer. When the district governor requested cotton deliveries, the farmer sent his son to his place. The boy took three other teenagers with him and set off on the trailer filled with cotton. Tragically, one of the children died when the trailer overturned on the road.

According to the report, A.A., born in 2003, was driving the tractor with an attached trailer on an internal road near a ditch on November 3. The accident occurred when the tie rod connecting the trailer to the tractor detached, causing the trailer to fall into the ditch. As a result, T.P., born in 2009, sustained fatal injuries.
Hayot Shamsutdinov, the spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, stated that a criminal case has been opened by the investigation team of the Regional Internal Affairs Department under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, which addresses violations of vehicle safety rules. The investigation is ongoing.
