Mriziyoyev concludes his working visit to Turkmenistan

The events within the framework of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s working visit to Turkmenistan have concluded, the Presidential press service reported.

It was noted that in the Caspian coastal “Avaza” tourism zone, the Head of State held talks with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

A trilateral meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Following the talks, a joint statement was adopted and a number of documents were signed.

"At a meeting with media representatives, the leaders assessed the outcomes of the negotiations. In accordance with the visit program, the Head of State, together with the leaders of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, attended the performance of the “Galkynysh” national equestrian group", the report said.

After the events concluded, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was seen off at Turkmenbashi city airport by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguli Atagulyev and other officials. The Head of State then returned to Tashkent.

It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, attended a horse show and performances by the equestrian team in the city of Turkmenbashi. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also presented the Uzbek leader with a camel and a calf, symbols of prosperity and abundance.
