Mirziyoyev meets with President of Albania

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with President of Albania Bajram Begaj on the sidelines of the UN High-Level Week, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reported today.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in elevating bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, including through the creation of mechanisms for political dialogue and economic cooperation.

They noted the importance of realizing the potential for collaboration in trade and investment, as well as implementing joint projects in the agrarian and food industries, transport, and other sectors.

The leaders also exchanged views on key regional and international issues.

As a reminder, on September 23, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also held talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
