The National Guard will be accorded new powers

It has been established that the National Guard has the right to consider cases of violations under individual articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses and impose administrative penalties in the form of fines. This was stated by the MP of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) Rasul Kusherbayev.
According to the amendments, the National Guard will be able to prosecute offenses under the following articles:

- Part 1 of Article 187 (drinking alcohol in public places);
- Article 188 (attraction of a minor in antisocial actions);
- Article 188-2 (permission for minors to spend the night in recreational and entertainment areas);
- Article 192 (Violation of Domestic Noise Control Requirements).

In addition, in the case of detection of administrative offenses in accordance with articles 61, 183, 184-2, 184-3, 185, 185-1(except for violations of customs legislation) 185-2, 185-3, 186 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, also part two of Article 187, 188-1, 188-3, 189, 189-1, 190, 191, 194-1, 195-1, 196 (on the part of the National Guard) and 210-1, officials of the National Guard will draw up a protocol on the administrative offense and send it to the court for consideration in the prescribed manner.

The draft law was adopted by the MPs in the first reading.
