15488Yesterday, a video surfaced on social media depicting a clash between law enforcement and vendors at Farhod market. The Tashkent City National Guard responded to the incident.
According to official sources, the altercation occurred on May 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the "Farhod" market. National Guard and prevention officers arrived in response to a call from the market administration. They engaged in dialogue with individuals involved in unauthorized street vending.
G.S., known for selling strawberries, frequently engages in disputes at the market. Despite lawful requests, both G.S. and B.M. resisted the National Guard's authority, leading to a disturbance.
Subsequently, the individuals were escorted to the regional prevention inspector's office according to protocol.
The National Guard conducted investigations into the incident and issued relevant citations to those involved, citing violations of Articles 183 (Petty hooliganism) and 194-1 (Failure to comply with the lawful demands of a National Guard employee of the Republic of Uzbekistan) of the Administrative Responsibility Code. The case has been referred to the Uchtepa District Court of Criminal Cases for further legal proceedings.
