A 51-year-old man is sentenced for molesting a school student

A 51-year-old man who molested a school student in the Tashkent region has been sentenced to 5 days in prison. Aziz Obidov, a spokesperson for the Supreme Court, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this case.

The incident occurred on October 10 of this year at 11:00. At that time, E.N., born in 1972, molested a student named Sh.F. On October 18, 2023, an open court session was held in the Qibray district court regarding this situation.

It has been reported that the accused had previously faced administrative responsibilities.
During the meeting, the offender, E.N., admitted to committing the crime and expressed regret for his actions. He also pledged that such a situation would not occur again and requested leniency from the court. However, the court determined that, considering the level of social danger of the criminal acts, as well as mitigating and aggravating circumstances, it was impossible to rehabilitate him morally without separating him from society.

As a result, E.N. was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 41 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was sentenced to 5 days of administrative imprisonment.

It is worth noting that on October 18, the Bostonliq District Criminal Court sentenced a former officer of the National Guard who had raped a 13-year-old girl.
