"Tata Steel-2023" international tournament continues in the city of Wijk n Zee, Netherlands. On 17 January, the 4th round of the competition took place.
Grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov from Uzbekistan continued his unbeaten streak in the "Masters" group. In the 4th round, Abdusattorov played against Iranian Parham Magsudlu and won after a 6-hour match. In the "Shallenger" group, Javahir Sindorov argued with Adiban from India and chose a compromise.
The unexpected match in the 4th round was attended by Norwegian Magnus Carlsen, the world champion. Magnus missed an opportunity against Anish Giri, one of the hosts.
After the remaining rounds, Nodirbek Abdusattarov recorded 2 wins and 2 draws, while Javahir Sindorov had 1 win and 3 draws.
