Abdusattorov is leading in the Kasimjonov tournament

The first day of the 1st international chess tournament “Rustam Kasimjanov” hosted by the city of Tashkent has come to an end. On the first day of the competition, Uzbek chess players Nodirbek Abdusattarov and Javahir Sindorov took the lead.
After five rounds, both Abdusattorov and Sindorov were leading the tournament table with 4 points, having recorded 4 wins and 1 loss in the “Masters” group. Rustam Kasimjanov was in 6th place with 2 points.
In the “Challenger” group, the Uzbek chess player led the tournament table. Having achieved 4 wins and 1 draw in five rounds, Artik Nigmatov created the best chance to win the competition.
Today, 29 March, the 6-9 rounds of the tournament will be held.
