Grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov from Uzbekistan will participate in the World Cup with a prize fund of 2.5 million euros, which will be held in Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Information Service of the International Chess Federation.
According to the source, the tournament will be held in Baku from July 30 to August 24 this year. Currently, 146 male and 71 female chess players have been confirmed to participate in the open category competition.
The top 3 chess players of the World Cup who reach the end of this competition will compete for the World crown to determine the final winner.
