6624Videos of ambulance workers being beaten up have been circulating on social networks. The press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan commented on the incident.
As it turned out, at 19:40, the Amudarya District Emergency Department received a call about a citizen named K.R., born in 1997, who lives in the "Kilichboy" municipal district. Based on the call, doctor S.P., paramedic B.J. and driver M.H. arrived at the address in 8 minutes and 30 seconds, that is, at 19:48.
The employees examined the patient and provided him with the necessary medical assistance. At that time, when the patient asked his father-in-law to leave the room, his father-in-law was drunk and left the room in an aggressive manner.
While the staff were providing the patient with the necessary assistance and leaving, the patient's father-in-law attacked the doctor and paramedic, causing minor injuries to their face and neck. He also insulted them and said abusive words.
The father-in-law who committed the incident was taken away by the Internal Affairs Directorate.
"The injured TMO staff were examined by a doctor at the trauma center of the Amudarya District Medical Association," the report says.
It should be recalled that in June last year, a 26-year-old man in the Tashkent region beat up an ambulance doctor who had come on call. When the doctor asked the patient if he had any additional illnesses, the patient turned to the doctor and said, "Who are you, do your job faster," and stood up and suddenly punched the doctor in the face.
