New Minister of Water Resources appointed in Karakalpakstan

Yusupov Bakhtiyor Abdullaevich has been appointed Minister of Water Resources for the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by the Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

For reference, Bakhtiyor Yusupov graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in 1984 and the Academy of State and Public Construction in 2001. He began his career in 1984 at the Turtkul District Construction and Installation Department under the "Karakalpaksuvskurilish" Trust. Over the years, he has worked effectively in senior positions in organizations within the agriculture and water resources sectors. Prior to his appointment, Bakhtiyor Yusupov served in the Department for Ensuring the Efficiency of Water Resources Facilities at the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is also worth noting that earlier this year, Nurullan Umirzakovich Erlepesov was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance for the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
