In the Samarkand region, two women who sent girls to Oman for prostitution were sentenced to 5 years in prison. This was reported in the "Zamon" program.
It was reported that a 32-year-old woman originally from Ferghana forced young girls into prostitution in Oman. He made a woman from Jizzakh an accomplice in his criminal act. They paid visas and other expenses for the girls who dreamed of going abroad and sent them abroad starting in 2021. In particular, he had a crush on girls. He stated that he went to work with the woman to buy a house and improve her condition.
"When I went, I didn't know the language at all, I didn't understand it. He talked and dropped the girls off at the hotel. "I went to work as a waitress, and then they forced me to become a prostitute," says the woman.
One of the witnesses stated that he had heard that the defendant called a lot of girls there and that he had 18 daughters.
The court case was considered in the Samarkand city court. According to the court's verdict, the defendants were found guilty of committing the crime stipulated in the relevant clauses of Article 135 (Trafficking in Human Beings) of the Criminal Code and were sentenced to 5 years and 1 month of imprisonment.
