2 people died in accident on the “Kamchik” Pass

Yesterday, on July 31, two people died in a traffic accident on the "Tashkent-Vodiy" road due to a failure of the truck's brakes, according to the Traffic Safety Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The incident occurred at 16:00 on the 242nd kilometer of the A-373 Tashkent-Osh highway. A truck traveling on the "Tashkent-Vodiy" route lost control, struck a concrete barrier in the middle of the road, and veered in the opposite direction, colliding with Cobalt and Matiz cars.
As a result of the accident, the Matiz and the truck fell into a ravine. Two citizens died at the scene.
Rescuers from the MES removed both vehicles from the ravine using special equipment and managed the aftermath of the accident.
"Currently, the investigation is being conducted by the employees of the relevant organization," stated the report.
It is worth noting that a previous accident involving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and three trucks also occurred in "Kamchik".
