Traffic accident in Andijan: Two children injured by Matiz

In the Asaka district of the Andijan region, a Matiz car struck two children who were running across the road. This was reported by the regional Traffic Safety Department.
The incident occurred on the 2nd kilometer of the D-105E Asaka–Humo highway, in the “Yuksalish” neighborhood. The driver, A.O., born in 1981, was operating a Matiz vehicle when he hit two children crossing the road at an unmarked section, resulting in a traffic accident.
The injured pedestrians were taken to the Asaka district medical center, where they received first aid before being discharged. The case is currently under preliminary investigation by the district’s Traffic Safety Department.
Previously, in the Piskent district of the Tashkent region, a driver fell asleep at the wheel and collided with an Isuzu vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
