Adverse weather forces Irkutsk-Namangan flight lands in Fergana

Uzbekistan Airports reported that a plane traveling from the Russian city of Irkutsk to Namangan had to make an unscheduled landing in Fergana.
The diversion occurred due to unfavorable weather conditions, specifically dense fog, at Namangan International Airport. As a result, the crew of Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9822 chose Fergana as an alternative landing location.
Earlier, another flight from Moscow to Namangan faced similar issues and was rerouted to Tashkent International Airport due to the same foggy conditions.
