Flood fills streets with sand and gravel in Fergana

On July 25, floods were observed in the Fergana district of the Fergana region, as reported by Uzgidromet.
As a result of torrential rain and hail at 15:30, a flood flow of 1.5-2 m³/s occurred in the Qurkul floodway, located in the "Shohimardon" neighborhood of Fergana district. This flood flowed through the floodway without causing harm to residents and the surrounding areas.
At the same time, torrential rains and hailstorms caused a flood flow of 4-5 m³/s from the hills of Shohimardon village, filling the courtyard of the village medical center and four residents' courtyards with sand and gravel.
Similarly, at 15:30, flood flows of 1.5-2 m³/s occurred from the Bukan floodway, located in the "Yordon" neighborhood of the Fergana district, and flowed through the floodway without causing harm to the population and the surrounding areas.
According to reports, cleaning work is currently being carried out by MES employees. There are no casualties among the population.
