The right to provide food to state preschool educational organizations in Quvasoy, granted to the enterprise "Garden Catering Trade" by the governor of the Fergana region, Hayrullo Bozorov, just nine days after its opening, will be revoked. This information was revealed in the response of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights to an article by QALAMPIR.UZ.
"The Competition Committee investigated this situation and sent a directive to the local government authority to cancel the decision and revise the requirements in accordance with Article 22 of the Law on Competition, considering the prohibited norms and to ensure a competitive environment," the report stated.
For context, the "Garden Catering Trade" enterprise in the Quvasoy district of the Fergana region commenced operations on July 16 of this year. The regional governor, Hayrullo Bozorov, personally attended the opening ceremony and reviewed the company's activities. Nine days later, the enterprise was granted the right to supply food to state preschool educational organizations in the entire district.
