"The Palestinian people have the right to establish an independent state," said Mirziyoyev on November 3.

On this day, Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States and discussed the Israel-Palestine conflict, as reported by the President's press service.

Mirziyoyev began by highlighting the growing global crisis of trust, the emergence of new challenges to global security, and the increasing instances of deviation from international law norms. He expressed deep concern about the Israeli-Palestinian issue, a long-standing conflict in the Middle East, taking on an extremely dangerous tone.

The President of Uzbekistan also noted a significant rise in casualties, particularly among civilians, including the elderly, women, and children, due to armed conflicts.

"In light of this, we call upon the parties involved to immediately cease hostilities, end the use of force, and establish a truce. The most equitable and viable solution to this problem is the resolution of the conflict based on the 'two states for two peoples' principle. The Palestinian people have the right to establish an independent state, as defined in UN resolutions," emphasized Mirziyoyev.

He further urged the leaders of the participating countries within the organization to collectively convey a united and resolute stance on this matter to the global community.

It is worth noting that on October 31 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev declared Uzbekistan's support for the Palestinian people, and on November 1, his decision to allocate humanitarian aid to the United Nations Middle East Agency for Assistance to Palestinian Refugees and Organization of Work was approved.
