Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for August 23–24.
According to the report, the weather across Uzbekistan this weekend will be partly cloudy and occasionally changeable, with no precipitation expected in most regions.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 35–37 degrees, while southern and desert regions may experience highs of up to 40 degrees.
A relatively humid and slightly warm air mass is expected to move into the country over the weekend. Dry weather will persist in most areas, although short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible in some foothill and mountainous regions. The overall temperature will decrease by 2–3 degrees.
Winds will blow at speeds of 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts reaching 13–18 m/s, and may carry dust in some areas.
In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally changeable, with no precipitation expected. Winds will shift from the east to the west at speeds of 3–8 m/s, with gusts of up to 12–15 m/s. The daytime temperature is forecast to be 32–35 degrees on August 24, with nighttime temperatures ranging between 20–22 degrees.
