Electric shock fatality at Bukhara preschool under review

Reports have surfaced on social media about the death of a 1.5-year-old child due to an electric shock at a private preschool in the Bukhara region. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has commented on the incident.

It was stated that the situation is under the control of the Bukhara Regional Department of Preschool and School Education, and urgent investigations have been conducted. During the investigation, it was revealed that on March 28, at the SEE Kh.O.U. family-run private preschool in Bukhara district, a child born in 2023, Sh.Sh., tragically passed away. Currently, the Internal Affairs Department is conducting an inquiry into the causes of the child’s death.

“Additional information regarding the incident will be provided,” the statement said.

Earlier, in the Tashkent region, the arm of a crane installed at a residential complex under construction by a private entrepreneur fell onto the roof of a neighboring kindergarten. As a result, the kindergarten’s activities were temporarily suspended. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in that incident.
