Until August 1, 2025, buses and minibusses imported by business entities operating in Uzbekistan's tourism sector will be exempt from customs duties. This is stipulated in the Presidential Decree "On additional measures aimed at improving tourism infrastructure in the Republic of Uzbekistan and further increasing the flow of foreign tourists."

According to the decree, until August 1, 2025, tour operators registered and licensed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan will be allowed to pay 25% of the current rate of customs duty and disposal fee when importing high-capacity vehicles with an engine capacity of not less than 2.4 liters for organizing extreme tours. It is permitted to pay in installments over a period of 3 years.

Until August 1, 2025, buses and minibusses imported by business entities operating in the tourism sector will be exempt from customs duties.

Entrepreneurs, artisans, and representatives of culture and art will participate in international tourism fairs and exhibitions, with the list formed by the Tourism Committee.

From January 1, 2025:

  • At least 1 billion soums will be allocated from local government budgets for international tourism fairs and exhibitions.
  • 50% of the cost of pavilion rent at international tourism fairs and exhibitions will be covered for tour operators that have been in operation for no more than 3 years.
  • 50% of the cost of pavilion rental, transportation of displayed products, and air ticket expenses will be covered for artisans at international tourism fairs and exhibitions.
