A man involved in an altercation on a bus in Tashkent has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention for spitting on a woman's face and using offensive language. QALAMPIR.UZ reviewed court documents detailing the incident.

The altercation occurred on November 28, around 5:30 p.m., on a bus in the Uchtepa district. The man, identified as B.O. (born in 1992), engaged in a verbal argument with M.S. (born in 2001), during which he spat on her face and verbally abused her.

Following the incident, the Uchtepa District Internal Affairs Bureau filed an administrative report against B.O. for Petty Hooliganism under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The case was referred to the Uchtepa District Criminal Court.

On December 3, the court found B.O. guilty and sentenced him to 10 days of administrative detention.

Additionally, he was ordered to pay 562,000 soums to the Special Reception Center of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Bureau.

This follows a similar incident last month in Fergana, where an individual disrupting public order by forcibly stopping a bus was sentenced to five days in detention.
