The 6th "Tata Steel Chess India" tournament is underway in Kolkata, India, featuring some of the world's top chess players. Among the competitors is Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov, who faced off against Norwegian chess legend Magnus Carlsen in an intense match.

Despite playing with the black pieces against Carlsen, widely regarded as the greatest chess player in history, Abdusattorov managed to secure a draw. While he had opportunities to clinch a victory, the game ultimately ended in a stalemate.

After nine rounds, the 20-year-old Abdusattorov has achieved three wins, four draws, and two losses in the tournament.

The prestigious event, which runs until November 17, features 10 of the world's strongest chess players competing for a prize pool of $19,000. The winner will take home $10,000, while the second and third-place finishers will earn $6,000 and $3,000, respectively.
