A person who had promised to facilitate travel to Korea in exchange for twelve thousand dollars has been arrested

A person suspected of committing fraud has been apprehended in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region. This information was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.

It has been noted that in Denov, a certain O.Yu. had promised a citizen named Q.I. an opportunity to work in South Korea in exchange for a sum of twelve thousand US dollars. The individual was apprehended with physical evidence on hand, having received forty-eight million soums and two thousand US dollars as an advance payment.

Furthermore, it has been uncovered that this person had fraudulently obtained a total of four thousand eight hundred US dollars and eighty-eight million soums by promising to facilitate the employment of two citizens in the aforementioned country.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is currently underway.
