Embassy of Uzbekistan issues advisory for citizens in South Korea

Following the declaration of martial law in South Korea, citizens of Uzbekistan who are in the country have been warned. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea reported this.

“Dear compatriots! As you know, martial law was declared in South Korea on December 3. Given the current internal political situation in the country, we urge all of you not to participate in various rallies and demonstrations in South Korea, not to go to crowded places, and to take care of your safety and health,” the statement said.

We want to remind you that South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol held an emergency meeting and announced the introduction of martial law in the country. Following this, the country's activities of parliament and political parties were suspended, and the military blocked access to the legislative building.
