A prevention inspector in Tashkent was found to have set up a drug laboratory in his office, the State Security Service reported.

According to reports, the State Security Service, together with other law enforcement agencies, conducted an urgent search operation in Tashkent as part of efforts to combat the illegal circulation of narcotics. In particular, the office of a prevention inspector from the Olmazor district police department, who had been previously under surveillance, was inspected.

As a result, it was discovered that the inspector had set up a drug laboratory in his office, where a total of 10.5 kg of ’’Alpha-PVP’’ and 4 g of ’’Spice’’ synthetic drugs were found, along with 588 g of liquid substances, equipment, and electronic scales used in drug preparation. These items were seized as evidence.

Furthermore, during a continued operation, the inspector’s permanent residence in the Tashkent district of Tashkent region was inspected, revealing approximately 430 g of ’’Alpha-PVP’’ drugs buried on the property.

Investigations indicate that the police officer received narcotic substances brought into Uzbekistan by drug couriers via smuggling, following instructions from a profile owner involved in synthetic drug sales on the Telegram messenger. The inspector then prepared and distributed the drugs in a hidden laboratory.

A criminal case has been opened against him under the Criminal Code: Article 28 (Types of participants in a crime), Article 246, part 2 (Smuggling), Article 25 (Preparation and attempt to commit a crime), and Article 273, part 5 (Illegal preparation, acquisition, storage, or trafficking of narcotic drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances). Investigative actions are ongoing.

In addition, during an urgent operation conducted by the Tashkent region directorate of the State Security Service in cooperation with the Angren city Internal Affairs department, authorities stopped illegal activities of a resident of Angren, born in 2000, who received 971 g of ’’Cathinone’’ synthetic narcotics from an accomplice born in 2001. The suspects were involved in distributing and selling drugs through ’’stash’’ locations.

The 25-year-old, previously convicted for drug-related crimes, had planned to divide the seized narcotics into smaller portions for future sale to earn substantial profits.

A criminal case has been opened against him under the Criminal Code, Articles 25 and 273, part 5, and investigative actions are ongoing.

It should be noted that, according to legislation, both cases could result in sentences exceeding 10 years of imprisonment for the suspects.

Previously, members of a large drug network known as ’’Deadpool’’ were arrested in Andijan.
