On the night of September 28, a powerful explosion occurred in a warehouse owned by "Inter Logistics" LLC in the "Quruvchilar" branch of the Sergeli district in Tashkent city. This information was reported by MES.

According to them, DES received a report about the fire at 02:43.

Subsequently, 16 fire-rescue crews and 3 truck drivers arrived at the scene of the incident at 02:48.

The situation is now under complete control, and the fire was successfully contained at 05:02.

Efforts are ongoing to reduce the affected area of the fire. Right from the outset, the leadership of MES, along with personnel from relevant organizations, have been actively working at the scene of the incident. To determine the cause of the fire, the special laboratory of MES is conducting an investigation at the scene. A command center has been established at the incident site, led by MES, providing further details on the incident.

Videos circulating on social media captured a loud explosion. Reports suggest that the explosion resulted in damage to nearby houses and significant harm to trade and other centers. Ambulances promptly arrived at the scene.

MES has refuted claims that the incident "was caused by a plane crash."

According to MH, those injured in the explosion have been transported to the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medical Care and its branch in the Tashkent region.

"The injuries sustained in the explosion are not severe. Medical professionals are providing all necessary assistance to the injured individuals," states the report.

Additionally, it was mentioned that healthcare facilities have been stocked with the required medicines and resources to provide swift medical aid.

Uzbekistan Airports has confirmed that the explosion in Tashkent has not impacted the operation of the capital's airport.
