11488On June 18, the Primorsk region court in Russia initiated a criminal case against four young men from Uzbekistan for sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman. This information was disclosed by the press service of the Primorsk region courts.
The investigation reveals that the incident took place on June 15 at a cafe in the Shamora beach area. It is reported that five Uzbek nationals conspired in advance, threatened the victim with a knife, and assaulted her.
"The court has ordered a two-month pretrial detention for the four defendants. The legal status of the fifth individual is still under review," stated the report.
It is worth mentioning that in a previous incident in Russia, an Uzbek migrant was accused of raping his former lover's daughter.
