Individual detained for organizing marijuana lab in Bostanlyk

A man who organized a marijuana cultivation laboratory in a field house in the Tashkent region has been detained, according to the press service of the Tashkent-AERO Specialized Customs Complex.

The report indicates that during an operation at Tashkent International Airport, a resident of the district was apprehended by customs officers while receiving a courier shipment containing marijuana. The forensic examination, conducted by the Central Customs Laboratory, confirmed that the shipment weighed 886.426 grams and was found in a paper box.

Subsequently, authorities conducted a search of the suspect's field house in Bostanlyk district. It was discovered that the man had set up a marijuana cultivation laboratory there.

During the inspection, a total of 200 marijuana plants and approximately 5 kilograms of dried marijuana powder were seized as evidence.

Currently, pre-investigation measures are underway regarding this case.

It is worth noting that earlier in Andijan, a man was arrested for possessing 2.5 kilograms of hashish found in his car and a rented house.
