An electrician in Jizzakh died while repairing a substation. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, shared this information with QALAMPIR.UZ.

T.U., born on January 13, 1976, was employed as an electrician at the Bakhmal district electricity supply company. His life ended tragically when struck by a live wire while climbing an electricity pole.

In the ongoing investigation, B.J., a colleague of the deceased, visited the accident site. It was revealed that B.J., T.U., and another individual were inspecting the area for faults caused by an electricity supply interruption on January 13.

Following the incident, a forensic medical examination was conducted on T.U., and the Gallaorol district No. 2 STE concluded that the cause of death was electric shock and subsequent body burns.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being investigated.
