The procedure for transporting jewelry through customs is changed

Now, jewelry worth up to 100 million soums can be taken out of customs without filling out a declaration. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.

It is reported that yesterday, on October 31, amendments and additions were made to some regulatory legal documents by Presidential Decree No. PF-185.

According to it, individuals can now take ready-made jewelry worth up to 100 million soums out of the customs territory of Uzbekistan without filling out a passenger customs declaration. For goods worth 100 million soums and more, a passenger customs declaration is required.

For your information, until now, it was allowed to take ready-made jewelry with a value of more than $5,000 USD out of Uzbekistan, provided that the passenger fills out the customs declaration.
