6452115,000 labor migrants who worked abroad since the beginning of the year returned to Uzbekistan. This was announced today, May 10, at the meeting of video selectors chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President once again emphasized that the issue of employment and income of the population is of the first level of importance and warned leaders at all levels that laxity in this regard cannot be tolerated.
It is known that 58,000 labor migrants returned to Uzbekistan in January-March this year, and 57,000 in April. Another 250,000-300,000 people are expected to return by the end of the year.
The importance of employing them and helping them with their social issues was emphasized.
Tasks were given to officials to create a single information platform on migration and integrate it with the system of the "seven of neighborhoods", to help Uzbeks working abroad and find themselves in difficult situations, and to employ returning citizens.
We remind you that during a raid in Moscow to combat illegal migration, the police found more than 6,000 violations and decided to expel more than 800 illegal migrants from Russia.
