1811With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan, a citizen who was in a difficult situation in Azerbaijan was returned to the country. This was reported by "Dunyo" news agency.
It was reported that the Uzbek citizen had applied to the embassy for medical assistance and practical help in returning to Uzbekistan due to a serious illness (stroke). During a conversation with him, it was revealed that he had been living in Azerbaijan illegally with his son for 10 years.
To provide the patient with prompt medical assistance, measures were taken to hospitalize him.
“However, various problems arose due to the lack of medical insurance and necessary documents. In the end, a decision was made to return our compatriot to Uzbekistan, in agreement with the patient and his son,” the report says.
It was added that with the assistance of active Uzbeks in Azerbaijan, a ticket was purchased for the citizen and his son on the Baku-Tashkent flight. They were flown to Uzbekistan on March 29.
We would like to remind you that earlier, an Uzbek citizen who suffered a stroke in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, was brought to Tashkent by the Consulate General.
