New Tashkent will be a green and safe city

The "Green belt of Tashkent" project starts from the New Tashkent region.  Central Park will be built on an area of 420 hectares and 200,000 trees will be planted.  Today, 1,000 trees will be planted in this park with good intentions.  This was reported by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov, based on the speech of Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the "New Tashkent" project.

New Tashkent will be a green and safe city.

The president drew attention to the fact that the capital should be a truly ecological city with all-around convenient conditions for residents.

As a continuation of these works, the head of state proposed planting 1,000 trees in the territory of each neighborhood in spring as part of the "Green Space" nationwide project.

"At the end of his speech, the President expressed his confidence that our capital New Uzbekistan will become a large megalopolis corresponding to the high level of development and potential in all respects, one of the most beautiful and attractive cities in the world," Asadov said.
