It is revealed which areas were selected for the construction of the new city of Tashkent

It was revealed which regions of the Upper and Middle Chirchik districts were selected for the construction of the new city of Tashkent.  This was announced in the Presidential Decree “On measures to establish the new city of Tashkent” signed on July 20 of this year.

According to him, approximately 19,730.9 hectares of land were selected from the Upper Chirchik and Orta Chirchik districts for the new city, and construction and improvement works are planned on 2,420 hectares of land at the initial stage.

As it is known, the category of specialized agricultural lands in Uzbekistan, Dostlik, Surankent, Turkestan, Gulistan, Iyk ota, (Kibray) Nurmuhammedov and Dostlik, Okhunboboyev, Kim Pen Hwa districts and Rice Breeding Institute from Middle Chirchik district will be changed and allocated for the establishment of New Tashkent city.

Let’s remind, it was announced that land plots in the city of New Tashkent will be sold through “E-auction” and a directorate will be established in the form of a state institution under the Cabinet of Ministers for the establishment of the city.
