Another girl who insulted the people of regions was arrested

A girl in the Tashkent region who insulted local people was sentenced to 10 days in prison. Aziz Obidov, press secretary of the Supreme Court, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this incident.

According to the information, a resident of Chirchiq, Tashkent region, born in 2004, R.S., on July 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM, deliberately insulted the honor and dignity of the people living in the regions of Uzbekistan with obscene words during a live broadcast on her Instagram page. Her actions sparked serious protests among social network users.

In particular, on July 21, 2024, citizen Z.Q. from Chirchiq filed a complaint with the DIA, requesting legal action. To clarify the situation, the Chirchiq city DIA preventive inspector, who is conducting a preliminary investigation, went to R.S.'s house. R.S. then shouted in the corridor of the apartment building and around the house, disturbing public order and the peace of the residents.

The court found R.S. guilty of an administrative offense under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sentenced her to 10 days of administrative imprisonment. Additionally, 15 percent of the base calculation amount, i.e., 510,000 soums, will be collected from her.

It should be noted that A.S., who had previously insulted the people of the region, was fined 20 times the base amount, i.e., 6,800,000 soums, in accordance with Article 41 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, considering that she is a second-group disabled person.
