Jasur Shodiev, widely known as "Jasjan" on Instagram, has been penalized for engaging in a staged argument with a passerby in one of Tashkent's parks, which he filmed and shared on social media. The Main Department of Internal Affairs provided details of the incident.

The altercation occurred on January 13, 2025, at Tashkent City Park in the Shaykhontohur district. Investigations revealed that Shodiev, born in 1997, had orchestrated the incident alongside his acquaintance, S.S., born in 2005. The staged argument was captured on video for social media content.

Following the investigation, the Shaykhontohur District Internal Affairs Bureau filed an administrative report under Article 183 of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Code of Administrative Responsibility, which pertains to petty hooliganism. The case was subsequently referred to the Shaykhontohur District Criminal Court for further proceedings.

The court sentenced Shodiev to five days of administrative detention. His accomplice, S.S., was issued an administrative fine equivalent to one month’s minimum wage.

It is worth noting that this is not an isolated incident. In a similar case earlier, another blogger in Surkhandarya faced legal repercussions for promoting early marriage on social media.
