News that the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has decided to buy 15 Chevrolet Trackers, 1 Chevrolet Traverse, and 1 Kia K5 in 2024 spread on social networks and caused widespread discussions. The party issued an official response to this situation.

It was noted that the party did not plan to purchase any vehicles in the 2024 budget, and not a single car will be bought this year.

"In the approved budget of our party for 2024, funds for the purchase of service vehicles have not been allocated and are not planned. Therefore, our party declares that in 2024, not a single expensive car will be purchased," said the statement from UzLiDeP.
