Heads of the Uzbekistan embassies in Kuwait and Qatar have been appointed

The Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan has decided to appoint ambassadors to Kuwait and Qatar, as reported by UzA.

Yunusov Ayubkhan was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Kuwait, and Khojayev Ashraf Bahadirovich was appointed to the same position for the State of Qatar.

Before this appointment, Ayubkhan Yunusov served at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Jeddah, while Ashraf Khojayev worked at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Great Britain as the second secretary and head of the Foreign Investments and Financial-Technical Assistance Department of the General Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is worth noting that the Uzbekistan embassy in Doha, the capital of Qatar, was inaugurated on December 11 of the previous year.
