Uzbekistan will have six days off in March for International Women's Day and Nawruz, as announced by the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment.
Days off for Women's Day:
- March 8, Saturday – International Women’s Day (public holiday)
- March 9, Sunday – Regular day off
- March 10, Monday – Day off for those on a five-day workweek; a working day for those on a six-day workweek
Days off for Nawruz:
- March 21, Friday – Nawruz holiday
- March 22, Saturday – Day off for those on a five-day workweek; a working day for those on a six-day workweek
- March 23, Sunday – Regular day off
According to Article 208 of the Labor Code, if a public holiday falls on a weekend, the day off is shifted to the next working day.
