Trump congratulates Mirziyoyev on Nowruz

United States President Donald Trump congratulated Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the Nowruz holiday. This was reported by the press service of the President.  

“Dear Mr. President, on behalf of the people of the United States of America, I congratulate you and the people of Uzbekistan on the wonderful holiday of Nowruz. This is a holiday of peace, prosperity, and renewal for all,” the message reads.  

In his congratulatory message, Trump expressed his high appreciation for the strong ties between the two countries and welcomed Mirziyoyev’s consistent reform program.  

“I look forward to expanding our trade relations and working together to solve the most pressing problems of our time. As our great nations strive for prosperity, the United States of America remains committed to supporting the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Uzbekistan. Happy Nowruz!” the message continues.  

It is worth recalling that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin also sent congratulations to Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the Nowruz holiday.
