Uzbek rescuers, participating in search and rescue operations in the earthquake-hit regions of Turkey, recovered the bodies of 14 more people from under the rubble.

This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that the rescue teams of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan are continuously searching for the injured and dead under the ruins of the Hatay region of Turkey.

“In the epicenter of the natural disaster, our search teams have been working tirelessly for the 4th day, and in the last hours, the guys have pulled out the bodies of 14 more people from under the rubble,” the report says.

According to information, since the beginning of the search and rescue operation, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan have recovered 13 injured and 64 deceased people from the rubble.

We remind you that Uzbekistan is actively participating in the rescue and recovery efforts after the earthquake that occurred in Turkey. At the request of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, first a search and rescue team of 100 people was sent to Turkey, and on 9 February, a second group of 71 people was sent to Turkey.
